Hi, there!

Well, here it is. The beginning of the design for the Hauk/Moretti family website. Corinne and I came up with this idea in order to keep everyone informed of everything that’s going on in the lives of our families. What we hope to be able to do is have others in our family sign up for an account in which they can post entries. That way it’s not just us, but everyone in the family communicating with everyone else. You can post anything from news to pictures.

Here’s the rundown of everything we’re hoping this site to be.

You can sign up for an account, and post whatever you want. Then, once you post, others can comment on the article or pictures or whatever you have. We think it’ll be a fun way to keep our families informed and bring everyone closer. It’ll also help to give us topics to talk about at big get-togethers.

Posting is not hard at all. Once you sign in, just click “Write” and it’s pretty self-explanatory. Pretty much as easy as a simple word processing program like Word.

On the side bar I hope to add a little chat box under the “Notes” section for quick little messages to everyone. Under the Photos section I’d like to have a slideshow of all the pictures uploaded on this website, in random order. And also a way to jump to certain albums.

Maybe it can be up and running by the start of the new year.
