Superbowl

Wednesday, February 4th, 2009 by Dan

It was a great game, no matter how disappointing the outcome. Corinne, Abby, Chris, and I went to Matt and Kendra’s for the day and got to hang out with them. We then got louder as the evening and game went on. It was very exciting the last couple minutes. We were divided in team preference outnumbering Abby and Chris who were the only ones routing for the Steelers. But they won. Congratulations!

Kendra’s New Job

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009 by Matt Hauk

Hi everyone! Most of you probably know about this already, but for those who don’t, Kendra got a new job.  She will be working at the Chester County Intermediate Unit in their alternative ed. program.  It is more of a teaching job for now instead of guidance counseling, but it’s something to get her foot in the door and a good resume builder for next year.  I’m very proud of her and happy for her that all of her school work paid off and I know she’s happy to get out of this job!  Because of this new job, Benny will also be going to a new daycare.  We weren’t sure how he would handle it since he won’t see his friends anymore, but he seems to be excited about it and everyday is asking how many more until he starts haha. So, they will be starting they’re new job/daycare on Feb. 2.

That’s it as far as any real exciting news from our end.  I hope everyone is enjoying themselves and doing well.  Hope to see everyone soon!

Checkin in :]

Monday, December 29th, 2008 by Corinne

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families! I know we had a busy day. I wouldn’t have had it any other way, though. :]

Did everyone get what they wanted for Christmas?

A couple gifts we received:
Reading 11 theater tickets (Imax, for those who don’t know the area)
Best Buy gift cards
clothes
purses (this one is all me)
Blue Man Group tickets
Pleather Coat (Dan)
Berkshire Mall gift cards (for a shopping trip that is going on later today!)
a couple of games
and priceless time with family and friends!

We’re going to a friend’s house for New Year’s Eve. Just a small group of people. We’re looking forward to it.

And also looking forward to the upcoming year! May it bring happieness and health to everyone!

Much love,
Corinne <3

Just stopping by..

Hello everyone!

It is Tuesday, December 16th. Kendra is all graduated! (Yay Kendra!) And Christmas is less than 2 weeks away. Is everyone done with their shopping? I know Dan and I have just a few more things to get, and EVERYTHING to wrap. But it WILL get done! :]

I’ve been working lots, keeping busy at the Salon. Still trying to get completely organized after the wedding. We are starting to select photos from the professional photographer for our wedding album. There are so many to choose from! But I guess it’s better to have too many than not enough! Our announcement should be in the Sunday edition of The Reading Eagle newspaper in the next week or so. Anyone who would like a copy can just let me know and I’d be happy to send it!

We look forward to seeing many of you over the next few weeks! I hope you and your families have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year, if we don’t see you!

Post about not much.

Hey everyone. I hope everyone is having a good holiday season. Enjoying the Christmas shopping? Thanksgiving was pretty good for Corinne and I. We went to her Uncle’s house and ate with her side of the family.

We got the pictures back from the wedding photographer. Some have seen them, others will see them at some point I’m sure. I also want to upload some to this site so those who aren’t local can see them sooner.

My friends and I are starting up a video blog/podcast dealing with music. We don’t have the name of the show finalized yet, but it’s “brought to you by messofmusic.com” which might end up just being the name of the show. We’re going to talk about more of the lesser-known stuff, reviews, interviews, and anything else really dealing with music. We’re very excited to get it started.

Anyway, I just wanted to give people an update of where we are in life. And maybe a shameless plug for the music site.

How was everyone else’s Thanksgiving? What are your plans for the rest of the holiday season?

P.S. Happy Birthday Benny!
